Qatar International Food Festival 2018 opened on March 15 and continued for 11 days at Hotel Park. That year, the number of participants grew by 36% to reach 177 stalls, food trucks and trolleys, extending over the full 80,000 squared meters of the park grounds. QIFF 2018 brought culinary and cultural experiences from all corners of the globe to Qatar’s residents and visitors.
The festival included a Live Cooking Theater experience with participation from internationally renowned chefs such as US MasterChef Christine Ha, Indian celebrity chef Ajay Chopra, and the Michellin Star chef who has been preparing the post-Oscars feast for 24 years, Wolfgang Puck. Other features were the Health Zone, Coffee Zone, kids’ activities and live entertainment.
Agence Publics Qatar was commissioned by the client to organize the event which witnessed the participation of 9 embassies that invited festivalgoers to savor the flavors of East and West.
Creative direction of the project, in both the proposal and live phases including venue design, visual identity development, content development for activations, venue branding and visitor experience.
