A Jazzy Tale is a musical showcasing the evolution of Jazz from its early days till our modern day and its deep interconnection with humanity. With classics by Jazz legends, meticulous choreography inspired by the various Jazz dance styles and scenography reflecting the characteristics of various eras, the show dives into the magical world of Jazz.
Hwadi Company Ltd. was commissioned by MOC Saudi to create a musical about the history of Jazz, part of Culture Square initiative in 2022. Performed for three consecutive nights, the show featured a Big Band led by Andrew Berryman and live singing performances by Nick Pritch and Andrea Florez.

The Scope
LKPD collaborated on this project with Jamais Vu Events, taking on the roles of co-Artistic Directors with Elie Fleyhan. Our scope included project conception, story creation, music selection, casting, scenography, choreography and screen content.
