Extended 45th Session of the World Heritage Committee

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted the Extended 45th Session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh. The event was organized by the Saudi National Committee for Education, Culture and Science (SNC) from 10 to 25 September 2023.
The project included the main event, two companion forums (Site Managers’ Forum and Young Professionals Forum), side events, opening and closing ceremonies and guided tours in the Kingdom.
Hwadi Company Ltd. was commissioned by the client to organize the full event. The main committee sessions and the Site Managers’ Forum were held in Al-Faisaliyah while the Young Professionals Forum was held in Fenaa Al-Awwal.
We handled all creative aspects of the project, in both the proposal and live phases, in our capacity as Creative Directors in the executing agency at that time. We were in charge of the venue design, visual identity adaptation, content development for all activations, venue and digital branding, visitor experience, opening and closing ceremonies and documentation for the main event, companion forums and side events.
